While some of you may be thinking “man, take that shit to FoundMagazine.com,” perhaps a few inquiring minds out there will appreciate this curious little snapshot of soul circa 1970. Snatched out of a mildewy cardboard box of scratchy 45rpm records , this 42 year old photo instantly begged a thousand questions. Was the band’s name Probe? Was the venue’s name Probe? Or maybe Probe was the name of the event they were playing? Was this event held in St. Paul, MN? And was it a weekly event? Monthly? Who knows? I certainly don’t. In fact the only thing I do know for certain is that I would love to have the opportunity to buy the soundtrack to this photo… ya know, only if it exists and preferably on 45 but I’ll also accept an LP. Get at me. I’m not picky.
